After all your hard work you’ll probably be desperate to find out your results. The British Council makes sure you get your results as soon as possible, and we’re here to offer support after you have received your grades.
Getting your exam results
Exam results are typically available six weeks after you take your exams. A printed copy will be sent out soon after. Please contact the Attached Centre to arrange for collection. We do not send results by email, phone, fax or by post.
Exam retakes and re-marking
Candidates sometimes don’t get the results that they hoped for. If this happens to you, try not to worry too much. Your results may still still open up many different exciting opportunities for your further education and future career.
However, in some cases, you may want to consider re-marking or retakes – for example, if your teacher predicted a much higher grade.
If you need a re-mark of your exam, please contact the Attached Centre to arrange for this.
Verification and other post exam services
Sometimes an employer or a university may request verification of your results certificate before offering a job or place. The British Council can verify your IGCSE, International GCSE and A- and AS-level certificates if required.
We aim to verify results in the shortest possible time frame, though this varies depending on your request and location. There is a fee for this service, and you will be advised accordingly by the Attached Centre
